Protect Yourself and Others From Getting Sick
Hand-washing is one of the best ways to protect yourself and others from getting sick. Washing hands can keep you healthy and prevent the spread of many virus from one person to the next. They can spread from other people or from surfaces that you touch.
Here is a reminder from MR.DIY of WHEN to properly wash your hands with soap and water to stay healthy:
1.After coughing or sneezing
2.When Caring for the Sick
3.Before, During, and After You Prepare Food
4.Before Eating
5.After Toilet Use
6.When Hands are Visibly Dirty
7.After Handling Animals or Animal Waste
During the COVID-19 pandemic, you should also wash your hands or at least use a hand sanitizer after you have been in a public place and touched an item or surface that may have been frequently touched by other people, such as door handles, tables, gas pumps, shopping carts, or electronic cashier registers/screens. Also always remember to wash your hands before touching your eyes, nose, or mouth because that’s how germs enter our bodies.
