MR.DIY CSR: Back-to-School @ PPR Pinggiran Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur

MR.DIY CARES has brought cheer to 300 underprivileged students in PPR Pingiran Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur ahead of the 2023 school term. MR.DIY Cares, the philanthropic arm of MR.DIY, assisted parents from lower-income groups by distributing back-to-school essential items to them.

The MR.DIY Back-to-School Programme is an annual initiative aimed at easing the burden of the underprivileged community in the area we operate.

The event was held on 17 December 2022 at Surau Al-Mustaqim, Taman LTAT in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur was attended by 2 MR.DIY Cares volunteers who represented on behalf of the Company, as well as parents and residents of PPR Pinggiran Bukit Jalil.

During the “Program Kasih Prihatin Asnaf” organized by the residents’ committee of PPR Pingiran Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, MR.DIY has assisted 300 students who received school bag, notebook, stationeries, pencil case and A4 file case.

The start of a new school term has always been financially challenging for the B40 folks and those from the lower-income group. MR.DIY empathizes with their financial plight and hopes this assistance will lessen some of their financial burden, bring cheer to the students and have them excited to go to school.
