There was once a heated debate among Malaysians over school providing stools for students to sit during assemblies, as they say that kids these days are being coddled too much.

However, for Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJK(C)) Man Ming in Gopeng, Perak, it is their obligation to turn over a new leaf as it gives more benefits to their students. For this reason, MR.DIY is pleased to contribute 210 plastic schools to SJK(C) Man Ming, to be used for school assembly as well as other student activities.

The administration of SJK(C) Man Ming has gone an extra mile and believes it is a right move to take an initiative that makes things easier whilst ensuring better hygiene for the students.

In addition to that, they hope this could build the students interest, and become more enthusiastic as students would normally stand during assembly or any other school’s gathering.

The handover of the contribution ceremony has been held on 5 December 2022 at the school, was attended by the Kinta Selatan District Education Officer, Dr. Mior Hamdan Ghazali, SJK(C) Man Ming’s Headmister, Mr. Loh Chee Kee and MR.DIY Group Human Resources Management Manager, Encik Bukhari Mokhtar.
