MR.DIY had partnered with Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia (YFBM) once again to spread its wings to further the latter’s food and basic necessities aid efforts to those who were in need.

A total of 160 families from the marginalized and underprivileged families nationwide have benefited and saw 60 families at Kampung Orang Asli Cangkung near Kuala Tahan, Pahang receive the food basket and other essentials from MR.DIY.

This time around, YFBM also has teamed up with other NGOs such as Sahabat Jariah Malaysia (SJM) who helped distributed to 40 families at Kampung Sungai Tembak, Baling, Kedah as well as Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia (APM) and helped to distribute the contribution t0 60 families in Hulu Langat, Selangor.

The contributions received are in the form of food such as canned food, mineral water, coffee, sugar, salt, and instant noodles. In addition, MR.DIY has contributed personal care items including shower gel, toothbrush, dishwashing liquid, and face mask.

MR.DIY hopes this initiative not only helps to alleviate their daily struggles in small ways but offers an opportunity for all parties to work together and help those in need.
