A total of 300 recipients from the B40 or hardcore poor families received the food basket and other essentials from MR.DIY as part of the YFBM’s “Jelajah Merdeka 65” programme in Kuala Selangor, Tanjung Karang and Sabak Bernam areas, in collaboration with Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia (YFBM) to lend a helping hand and support those who in need.

With sponsorships from MR.DIY, 300 bags containing basic food supplies such as biscuits, snacks, salt, instant noodles, mineral water, coffee, sugar, and ready-to-cook canned food has been distributed to the recipients. In addition, MR.DIY has contributed personal care items including shower gel, toothbrush, and toothpaste as well as Malaysia’s flag for them to fly and displayed at their home.

MR.DIY has always been a brand that prioritizes the community where it operates. Its long-term commitment in providing relief to the hard-core poor communities helps to alleviate their daily struggles in small ways.
