Once again, Malaysia’s largest home improvement retailer MR D.I.Y Group [M] Berhad, partnered with the Soroptimist International Damansara, helped low-income mothers and women from underserved communities in Kampung Gana, Kota Marudu, Sabah on 9 June 2022.

The contribution benefits the women from 40 families who received basic necessities and gardening tools supplies from MR D.I.Y. through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative for the community.

During a contribution handover ceremony, each recipient received washing powder, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and sanitary pad.

In order to help these communities to cultivate a sustainable income, through its organic farming project at Kampung Gana, MR D.I.Y has also contributed gardening tools including pail, gardening hose, shovel and garden glove.

In line with MR D.I.Y values, we hope this contribution not only eases the burden faced by them, but reflects our commitment towards improving the well-being of society in Malaysia.
