MR.DIY CSR: River Clean-up and Tree Planting by PUSPANITA

About 80 members of Persatuan Suri dan Anggota Wanita Perkhidmatan Awam Malaysia (PUSPANITA) Cawangan Daerah Hulu Selangor do their bit to conserve environment through organizing a river-clean up and tree-planting program at Sungai Kedondong, Mukim Batang Kali, Hulu Selangor on 16 August 2022. Apart from the clean-up activities, they also planted Pokok Temak Nipis in various locations surrounding the area. This initiative reflects PUSPANITA’s commitment towards the environment through river conservation and rehabilitation work, to ensure its sustainability for the next generation to enjoy.

For this program, MR.DIY contributed gardening and tree-planting tools such as 40 trash pick-up tools, 40 pairs of gardening hand gloves and 30 watering pots for the volunteers to use during the activity.

Previously on 23 November 2021, MR.DIY also had a massive clean-up in the same location. MR.DIY will continuously be engaging with communities where it operates, and aims to improve the environment through conservation, carbon-neutral programs that enrich lives for a sustainable future.
