MR.DIY Cares has launched another salvo of its CSR initiatives to support the fight against surging COVID-19 outbreak with the contribution worth of RM 73,600.00 towards 32,000 test kits in Kota Kinabalu Sabah, last week.
One of the beneficiaries, Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kota Kinabalu, which is one of the frontliners of the battle against the outbreak, has received 14,000 test kits to help identify those who are infected. In addition, Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Sabah also received 14,000 test kits and it will be distributed to all government health clinics throughout Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
While those on the frontliners are making sacrifices to safeguard the health and well-being of the ordinary citizen, MR.DIY Cares has partnered with Soroptimist International Kota Kinabalu (SIKK), helped multiple community organizations in KK, Sabah by distributing more than 4,000 test kits. Amongst the beneficiaries who received the self-test kits are Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) All Saints, Comfort Care Home, One Home Care, Grace Home Care, Bethany Home, The Anglican Retirement Kampung (ARK) in Likas, Persatuan Ibu Tunggal Sabah, Cheshire Home, Bukit Harapan and Pusat Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti (PDK) in Kota Kinabalu, as well as Kanaan Home in Petagas, Putatan, Sabah.
